CoinByte Deposit Match Rewards FAQ

1. What is the CoinByte Deposit Match Rewards Program?

After successful enrollment, eligible assets already held at enrollment and qualifying net deposits completed before the deadline may both count toward the activity amount. At the deadline, CoinByte calculates one total AUD reward based on the locked reward base and pays it in 26 instalments over 14-day cycles, converting each instalment into BTC at the applicable BTC/AUD price when paid.

This is not annualised interest, yield or a guaranteed return. The maximum 10% rate does not mean every user receives 10%.

2. Who can participate?

The Program is open to individuals who:

  • are existing or new CoinByte users;

  • hold a verified CoinByte main account;

  • are at least 18 years old and are residents;

  • have passed CoinByte KYC;

  • successfully click Opt in during the campaign window.

The campaign page may set additional jurisdiction, account, asset or other restrictions. Viewing the campaign page does not mean that enrollment is complete.

3. Do assets I already hold at enrollment count?

Yes. Eligible, settled assets belonging to the user within the eligible account scope are valued once in AUD using CoinByte’s reference price when Opt in is successfully completed.

They do not need to be withdrawn and redeposited. The enrollment snapshot is not repeated because the asset price later rises.

4. Which deposit methods qualify?

The current qualifying methods are:

  • Bank transfer: the net amount successfully received through an applicable bank channel;

  • Card deposit: the value finally credited, excluding channel fees;

  • Apple Pay or Google Pay: the value finally credited, with no double counting of the same payment; and

  • External crypto deposit: a successful deposit through an eligible asset and network.

The eligible asset, network and account lists on the campaign page apply. Trading support alone does not make an asset eligible if deposits are not supported or no reliable AUD price is available.

5. When is a deposit counted?

A deposit is counted when it successfully reaches the account, not when it is initiated or charged. A deposit initiated before the deadline but credited after the deadline does not count for that campaign.

Pending, failed, rejected, reversed, refunded or charged-back deposits do not qualify. A later refund or reversal of an already counted deposit may reverse the original activity entry.

6. How is the activity amount calculated?

Current activity amount = initial eligible amount at enrollment + valid qualifying deposits − applicable withdrawals

Pre-existing assets use the price at successful enrollment, new deposits use the price when successfully credited, and withdrawals use the price when accepted and frozen or deducted. CoinByte converts different assets into AUD using its applicable reference methodology.

7. Do trades change the activity amount?

No. Buying, selling, swapping, trading profit and trading loss do not directly change the activity amount. Transfers to another user, an external wallet, another platform or an excluded account or product may be treated as withdrawals.

8. How is the reward rate determined?

At the deadline, CoinByte caps the activity amount at AUD 100,000 and applies one rate to the entire locked reward base:

Locked reward base

Rate

Below AUD 100

0%; no reward plan

AUD 100 to below AUD 1,000

5%

AUD 1,000 to below AUD 5,000

6%

AUD 5,000 to below AUD 10,000

7%

AUD 10,000 to below AUD 25,000

8%

AUD 25,000 to below AUD 50,000

9%

AUD 50,000 to AUD 100,000

10%

The calculation is all-in, not progressive or segmented.

9. How is the reward calculated?

Total AUD reward = locked reward base × applicable rate

Examples:

  • AUD 3,500 × 6% = AUD 210 equivalent in BTC;

  • AUD 20,000 × 8% = AUD 1,600 equivalent in BTC;

  • AUD 80,000 × 10% = AUD 8,000 equivalent in BTC.

The maximum reward-calculation base is AUD 100,000, so the current maximum total reward is AUD 10,000 equivalent in BTC.

10. How is the reward pool allocated?

The total reward pool is AUD 100,000. Reward eligibility is allocated first come, first served by successful enrollment timestamp until the pool is exhausted.

When the remaining pool cannot support the next user’s complete reward eligibility, CoinByte will stop accepting new enrollments and display that the pool is full. A user who has already obtained reward eligibility will not have their locked rules or reward changed retrospectively solely because the remaining pool is later exhausted.

11. Will deposits after the deadline increase my reward?

No. The locked base, rate and total AUD reward are fixed at the deadline. Later deposits may help maintain eligibility or create a buffer, but do not increase the locked rate or reward.

If the activity amount is below AUD 100 at the deadline, a later deposit cannot create a reward plan retroactively.

12. How much must I maintain during each cycle?

The current maintenance base equals the locked reward base. There are 26 cycles of 14 days each. During each cycle, the activity amount must remain at or above the maintenance base from the start of the cycle until immediately before its end.

An amount exactly equal to the base satisfies the requirement.

13. What happens if I withdraw part of the funds?

If a withdrawal causes the activity amount to fall below the maintenance base at any time during a cycle, that entire instalment is not paid. It is not paid pro rata.

A top-up during the same cycle does not restore the cancelled instalment. The next cycle must be satisfied independently, and missed instalments are not recovered or moved to the end.

14. Can I withdraw BTC rewards that I have received?

You may request a withdrawal, but there is currently no special campaign-reward withdrawal exemption. Withdrawing a BTC reward may reduce the activity amount and affect later cycle eligibility.

The BTC amount already credited is not recalculated because the BTC price later changes.

15. Can I withdraw the amount above AUD 100,000?

The excess may form a buffer. For example, if the activity amount at the deadline is AUD 150,000, the locked base and maintenance base are AUD 100,000 and the additional AUD 50,000 is an activity buffer.

The buffer is not a guarantee of actual withdrawable assets. Trading losses, asset prices and other account events may affect what can actually be withdrawn.

16. Why was my reward not paid?

Common reasons include:

  • Opt in was not completed successfully;

  • the activity amount was below AUD 100 at the deadline;

  • the deposit was not successfully credited before the deadline;

  • the deposit method, asset, network or account scope was not eligible;

  • the activity amount fell below the maintenance base during the cycle;

  • the top-up arrived too late;

  • eligibility review was triggered or the reward pool had been exhausted; or

  • the scheduled payout time has not arrived or processing is delayed.

If you believe the calculation is incorrect, provide CoinByte support with the campaign name, transaction ID, deposit or withdrawal time and relevant screenshots.

17. Does a payout delay extend the maintenance period?

No. Once a cycle has ended and eligibility has been confirmed, a platform delay does not extend that cycle’s maintenance obligation. A withdrawal after the cycle ends affects the new cycle and does not reverse a completed cycle.

18. Can I participate in more than one campaign?

This depends on the terms of each campaign. Enrollment status, calculation windows, thresholds, caps and maintenance requirements are assessed separately and cannot automatically be combined.

19. Is the reward a guaranteed return?

No. It is a conditional promotional reward, not interest, annualised yield or a guaranteed return. Digital assets can be highly volatile, and the AUD value of a BTC reward may rise or fall. The user is responsible for applicable taxes and other costs.

20. What happens if this FAQ conflicts with the Terms?

The CoinByte Deposit Match Rewards Terms and Conditions and the campaign parameters shown at enrollment prevail. This FAQ explains common questions only and does not change the formal calculation, eligibility, rate or payout rules.
